We reserve the right to refuse service where unsafe, unlawful, or unreasonable conditions exist.
2. Customer Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about equipment, materials, and pickup conditions
- Ensure safe access for our staff during pickup or on-site services
- Remove any personal property not intended for recycling or destruction
- Comply with all applicable laws related to equipment ownership and transfer
- Represent that you have the legal right to dispose of any items you provide
We are not responsible for lost personal items left inside devices or equipment.
3. Data Security & Data-Bearing Devices
Reboot Tech LLC offers NIST 800-88–compliant media wiping and certified physical destruction services.
However:
- We do not access, view, or back up customer data
- We are not responsible for data left on devices prior to pickup unless data destruction service is explicitly requested
- Customers are responsible for ensuring all required data is backed up or removed before devices are surrendered
Certificates of Destruction are issued only when the service is purchased or included in the customer’s service agreement.
4. Equipment Classification & Fees
Pricing, fees, and buyback values depend on:
- Equipment type, age, and condition
- Market value at the time of processing
- Hazardous materials present (e.g., CRTs, batteries, toners)
- Pickup distance and logistical requirements
Some materials may incur handling or disposal fees as required by regulatory standards. These fees will be disclosed prior to service when possible.
5. Buyback Program
Buyback values are determined after physical inspection and testing of equipment.
We reserve the right to:
- Adjust or decline buyback value
- Reject severely damaged, incomplete, or counterfeit items
- Charge processing fees for non-functional equipment
All buyback payments are final once accepted by the customer.
6. Liability Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We do not guarantee recovery of value for all equipment
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website performance
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service related to that claim
This includes but is not limited to: lost profits, data loss, business interruption, or equipment damage unrelated to negligence.
7. Appointment Scheduling & Cancellations
Customers may schedule pickups or drop-offs through our website or by contacting our team directly.
We reserve the right to:
- Change or reschedule appointments
- Cancel service due to unsafe conditions or incorrect information
- Charge a cancellation or no-show fee when applicable
8. Intellectual Property
All website content—including text, images, logos, graphics, layout, and videos—is the property of Reboot Tech LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
